The Electoral Tribunal of Panama achieves 100 percent rating in compliance with the Transparency Act Tribunal Electoral de Panamá

By note of November 19, 2012, the Executive Secretariat of the National Council of Transparency against Corruption (NCTC) reported that the Electoral Tribunal (ETP), has achieved the highest rating of 100% (one hundred percent) in scoring related to the fulfilment of the Transparency Act.

The missive, addressed to the Chairman of ETP Erasmo Pinilla C., by the Executive Secretariat of the NCTC Abigail Benzadón Cohen, states that "we extend our congratulations for your interest in reaching 100% of the score in this latest evaluation of the year 2012, and we invite you to hold it next year in order to achieve the recognition of the Prism Award".

Finally, Benzadon Cohen thanked the effort and performance of the Tribunal, and invited the institution to continue these transparent practices in their management.

The Electoral Tribunal of Panama is the first electoral entity in the region, to be certified under the standards of ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Management, accomplishment that committed it, to periodically monitor the procedures of customer service and improve the deficiencies that may arise during those duties.
